solar heart Ascension - Breathwork Clearing Exercise

The solar heart Ascension Breathwork clearing Exercise supports the soul rapture process by engaging the spiritual Heart’s imagination, activating the subtle body to bridge higher and lower astral energies, and clearing blockages within the sushumna channel (“taji pole”) to allow for the Ascension of the Kundalini Shakti, liberation of the chakras, and realization of the Higher divine Senses.

Step I: Prepare Astral Body for Bridging Heaven to Earth

This modified Qigong exercise whereby you unite your Earthly and Heavenly chi by rooting into the Earth, to gather up the Chi into your lower three chakras and grasp down from the Celestials from your Crown to your Heart chakra. The goal is for both polarities to merge into a pool of energy that then beings to radiate outwards from the Solar Plexus areas as one unified chakra field off heightened sentience.

This clearing will alleviate any stress, nervousness, anxiety and deliver a sense of lightness and connectedness to Self. Begin by standing with bare feet, parallel, upon Mother Earth, beyond hip distance. With hands, facing palms in, allow the shoulders to drop relaxed as the weight shifts deep into Mother Earth from the tail bone. Imagine and feel all tension, heaviness and stress and dark energies within the body being rooted into the Earth through the foot chakras.

Gradually raise the arms from the shoulder joints with a slight bend at the elbow, until the hands are parallel with the shoulder. The palms remain facing inwards, becoming arallel with the Earth once level with the shoulders. As the arms lift, feel the magnetism of the hand chakras connected with the Earth energy, pulling up golden Earth fire through the roots that have been extended from the foot chakras. As the arms raise, this energy fills the lower nadis and meridians, collected in the Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras. Imagine each chakra lighting up with the respective color: Red, Orange, Yellow.

Once the arms are parallel with the shoulders, rotate the wrist facing palms up and direction your imaginative awareness to the higher realm. Sense the Prana opening from the back of your Heart chakra with each breath as your etheric wings expand. Spread your fingers, as the branches of a tree grasp for elemental nourishment, and breath in the peace of Celestial assurance, as your hands reach upwards above your head, palms facing together.

Bringing your shoulders back to parallel position, bend your elbows as your hands direct this electric white, etheric Heavenly Chi from the Crown through the Heart chakras. Envision a golden nectar being poured into from the top of the skull running along he spinal cord and nourishing all the nerve endings to expand each chakras.

As the hands reach the heart chakra, expand your diaphragm for a deep breath unifying the two polarities. As the energies merge evolving into a heightened sense of self, release a deep breath expanding the radiance of light birthed within out into the world. As your new self emerges, your hands return to the starting position for the next round to begin.

This set is to be repeated 10 times. Each time, the imagination grows more vivid, the senses more powerful, as the energies are able to penetrate deeper into our lower consciousness.

Step II – 30 “Cat Cow” Exercise for Spinal Cord Flexibility

This simple yogic technique is intended to further open and clear blockages in the spinal cord, creating flexibility and preparing the way for breath.

Kneel on the ground and put your hands in front of you. Keep your hands shoulder-width apart and your knees directly below your hips. Inhale deeply while curving your lower back and bringing your head up, tilting your pelvis up like a “cow.” Exhale deeply and bring your abdomen in, arching your spine and bringing your head and pelvis down like a “cat.” On the exhale, stick out your tongue, and release all energy from the depths of your bowels.

Repeat thirty times, each time, imagine with greater clarity all of your channels opening and each chakra rotating in unison and shooting out vibrant rainbow-colored energies.

Step III – Breath of Fire for Kundalini Activation

This yogic breathwork will help activate the Kundalini, coccygeal, gland, to stimulate our dormant potential in service of our cosmic self, and support the Kundalini Shakti energy in moving through the blockages along our spine. Additionally, this exercise will strength our ability to bring our Lower Self to our Higher Self.

Seated in full/partial Lotus position, begin by engaging the perineum for 15 slow contractions and releases to stimulate the kundalini gland stimulation activate the root chakra to bridge into the Earth chakra. Pair this with a deep in and out breath, surrendering with greater ease into each breath.

Begin the Breath of Fire exercise by inhaling through your nose and feeling your belly expand as you do so. Without pausing, exhale forcefully through your nose while contracting your abdominal muscles. Keep your inhales and exhales equal in length. With each forceful exhale, contract your perineum, feeling energies rise from the Earth chakra through your Root chakra.

Also, feel your Sacral chakra unravel from any subconsciously projected forms of shame oppression upon your sensuality and creativity. As the heat of the Earth chakra rises through the Sushumna channel, sense into the clearing of all heavy energies as each breath welcomes an enhanced sense of lightness, clarity and expansion. Repeat this exercise for three minutes.

In between breath exercises, settle into your new energy field and reactivate the Kundalini gland for 15 deep in and out breaths with each contraction and release. With each in-breath, squeeze from the depths of your organs with greater inner awareness, sensing the Chi being absorbed through the skin cells, into the blood stream, into the organs, in addition to the streams of prana moving through the respiratory and circulatory system.

Step IV: Seated Arm Twist Breathwork

This exercise is intended to further raise the Kundalini Shakti through the higher channels. Raise the arms perpendicular to the Earth, face the palms inwards and contracted into a fist, bent from the elbows to a 45 degree angle. Open the chest for a full 180 degree expansion and open the Root and Sacral chakra by tilting the pelvis with a slight bend in the lower back.

With a deep breath into the lower diaphragm, fully extend all the way to the left (or right), on the release fully wing to the opposite side. Upon release, allow the breath to natural spiral up along the sushumna channel, envisioning the golden Kundalini Shakti energy uncoiling each chakra from the base Root to the Crown chakra. As the mind expands, allows all thoughts to be released as the senses expand. Repeat this exercise for three minutes.

Step V: Bhastrika Pranayam – Forge Bellows Breathing

This breathwork exercise involves rapid nasal breathing and rhythmic diaphragm movements. The arm pumping motion in bhastrika pranayama involves raising the arms straight up and opening the fists while inhaling, and then bringing the arms down next to the shoulders and closing the fists while exhaling forcefully. As the arms come down along the side of the body, the lymphatic system is further cleared of toxic residue.

With this exercise, embody a sense of rejoice as your spring your arms into the Celestials, capturing the Heavenly Chi, and, like lighting, shooting this energy through your body. Allow yourself to become lost in the rapture as the electricity shoots through your organ and nervous systems. Repeat this exercise for three minutes.

Step VI: Nadi Shodhana Pranayama - Alternate nostril breathing

This is an alternate nostril breathing yogic exercise that involves inhaling and exhaling through one nostril at a time. This practice balances the body and mind’s energy by regulating the flow of air through the nostrils. Harmonizing the Ida and Pingala channels, it balances the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic system to bring us deeper inwards, conserving energy to build inner momentum for the Kundalini Shakti Ascension.

This slight variation also seeks to stimulate protection for the Third eye by placing the three middle three fingers, in the form of the Hamsa (“Hand of Fatima”), upon the Third Eye, Ajna Chakra.

Using the little finger to secure the left nostril, and the thumb to secure the right nostril, begin by securing the right nostril shut for a breath count of 8 seconds. Secure both nostrils shut for a count of four seconds and exhale from the right nostril, while securing the left nostril shut, for a count of 8 seconds. Breath in from the same nostril for a breath count of 8 seconds as the process restarts from the beginning.

Engage in this exercise for three minutes. Allow each repetition to bring you deeper in trance as you surrender your lower mind to be lifted in the supreme reality of bliss and peace. As you embrace your expanded senses, completely surrender to your soul’s imaginative guidance to fully activate your new state of existence.
